Elaine McKinney, Stylist - Staff Bios

Elaine began her career 22 years ago here in Collierville and has have been with D’Llands for 11 years.

Elaine has created a following of loyal clients who turn to her for fresh looks that they can recreate on their own. She has the unique ability to hear you describe what you want even if you don’t know what that is yourself, " I am a fantastic listener, but it isn’t enough to just do what your told, As a stylist you need to go into every service looking at each individual differently. Not just the first time, but every time they are in your chair. I advise my clients based on not only their face shape and skin tone, but the needs of their lifestyle. I want my clients to trust me and to be happy with the final look”.

Elaine is an accomplished colorist and has taken advanced courses in cutting and specialty colors. She recently completed a Goldwell color workshop where she expanded her color knowledge and learned the newest color techniques. She has also attended numerous hair shows and product knowledge classes including K.I.S., Sahag, Suds FX, TIGI, and Matrix.

Elaine excels at Facial Waxing, Cuts, Blow-Dry Styles, Perms, Specialty Color for Grey coverage, Highlighting, and Lowlighting, adding technical detail and a little spunk to all her work.
